In the normal course of business, the supplier of goods or services is liable to pay tax on supply, but in the case of reverse charge mechanism, the receiver becomes liable to pay tax instead.
If the reverse charge is applicable on a particular supply then the composition dealer has to pay GST under reverse charge as a recipient of supply at normal GST rates as applicable.
